The primary cause of RGB signal degradation is smearing, or loss of signal phase caused by noise and resistance within the conductors. To overcome these problems, the cable is made with 99.999% pure silver conductors that have been cryogenically treated to dramatically lower resistance and noise in the signal path. To protect each conductor from external signal corruption, silver-plated copper braid shielding provides 100% coverage of protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) with oversized ferrite filters at both ends to absorb up to 20,000 mF of radio frequency interference (RFI). High silver-content solder and precision temperature-controlled soldering techniques maintain low noise and balanced capacitance throughout the signal path. The body of the cable is sleeved with heavy-duty polyethylene mesh for long-life durability and flexibility.
