Vajra Powercord

The name 'Vajra' derives from the ancient Sanskrit word for diamond-like clarity. It is also the name of the double-ended scepter used by Tibetian Buddhist monks to symbolize a thunderbolt of omnipotent power of transcendantal realization.

The Vajra Powercord is specifically designed to deliver the maximum sonic performance from power sensitive SACD, CD and DVD players, DACs, and digital pre-amp processors that require the absolute quietest and most stable AC current of all the components in your system. The Vajra Powercord provides an expanded soundstage with vivid coherent imaging, neutral tonality, and extremely accurate bass response with any digital audio component.

The Vajra is a hand-built power cord with #8 AWG solid-core pure silver and stranded silver-plated copper conductors. The Vajra is terminated with the Oyaide C-037 Rhodium over Silver-plated IEC Connector and Oyaide P-037 Rhodium over Silver-plated AC Plug. All of the wire and connectors have been treated in our cold fusion deep-immersion cryogenic process to structurally align and fuse the molecular bond of the conductive alloys for significantly less resistance and optimal sonic performance. The cord body is sheathed with double layers of abrasion-resistant polyethylene mesh for maximum durability and optimal flexibility.
